“The Flight Attendant” is an American television miniseries by HBO Max, based on the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian. The main character, Cassandra Bowden, works as a flight attendant and has a life that is the envy of everyone until she wakes up after a wild night in Bangkok next to the corpse of a random acquaintance. 

What is the series “The Flight Attendant” about? 

Flight attendant Cassie travels the world, meets interesting people, and has short-lived romances that end when the next flight is announced. She is also an avid party girl, who loves strong drinks and attractive men. During one of her flights, Cassie meets Alex Sokolov, a business class passenger she was serving. A light flirtation on board turns into a pleasant evening in Bangkok. After a night out at the bar, Cassie and Alex head to their hotel room where they spend a wild night. In the morning, Cassie wakes up with a terrible hangover and finds Alex dead with his throat slit.
Panicked, trying not to give herself away, Cassie rushes to escape the hotel and Bangkok, as she could be executed under local law. Before she escapes, she tries to hide the traces of her presence, but to no avail. From that moment on, Cassie's life changes dramatically, although she tries to live as if nothing has happened. However, the FBI officers investigating the mysterious murder of Sokolov quickly track down Cassie, learning that she was the last person to see Alex alive.
