«My Favorite Scarecrow» (2021) is a Ukrainian comedy about Nastya, a modest young woman who becomes the assistant to the director of a prestigious cosmetics company. In a world where appearance often matters more than character, she has to stand up for herself and gradually change the way people around her see her.

What is the series «My Favorite Scarecrow» about?

Nastya has never felt comfortable among people who place great importance on appearance. That is why becoming the assistant to the director of Bon Visage turns into a real challenge for her. Everyone here is used to looking perfect, while the new employee clearly does not fit into this glamorous world.

Her first days at the company are far from easy. Her colleagues make no secret of their attitude toward her, and her boss Maxim initially sees nothing special in Nastya either. However, she gradually proves that behind her quiet manner and insecurity is a strong personality. She does her job well, is not afraid to speak the truth, and becomes less and less willing to tolerate things she once accepted in silence.

Over time, Nastya begins to influence the people around her, although she never intended to become anyone’s teacher. Her arrival makes Maxim reconsider his own beliefs, while their professional relationship gradually takes on a completely different meaning. But along with new feelings come new challenges.
