Adam finds himself in confrontation with a system where law enforcement falsifies evidence, witnesses remain silent, and victims try to forget the trauma instead of fighting for justice.

The film “The Last Prometheus of Donbas” tells the story of people who, despite constant shelling, continue to work at the last operating thermal power plant in the free part of the Donetsk region – just ten kilometers from the front line. This is a story about light born in defiance of darkness.
When the plant starts up, and smoke rises above the horizon, Russian forces immediately open fire. Despite the danger, the energy workers do not leave their posts – until the shelling ultimately destroys the station’s key elements. Evacuation begins – of people, equipment, and lives. History repeats itself: as in 1941, when the plant was evacuated eastward from Hitler’s Nazi troops, only this time the route leads in the opposite direction – away from imperial invaders from russia.
