What is the series “Brave Girl” about?

25-year-old Yevheniia Marchuk is one of the best operatives in the Kyiv police force, known for confidently taking on even the most challenging cases. But after an unsuccessful arrest, her career is threatened by disciplinary action. Her only chance to turn things around is a new assignment — this time, she must work undercover.

Stolen jewels from France, Italy, and Germany unexpectedly resurface across the former Soviet Union, and their trail leads to Odesa. There, investigators turn their attention to an antique and art shop owned by Andrii Nikolaienko, the godson of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.

In Odesa, the operative takes on the identity of an art expert and gets a job at the antique and art shop. Among its employees and clients, Yevheniia begins looking for someone who may be a link to an international criminal network. As Marchuk unravels the smuggling operation, the dangerous mission unexpectedly brings first love into her life.
