“Accused” (2023) is a crime drama anthology in which each episode tells a new story about a person standing trial. Inspired by the British BBC series, the project explores how a single choice, mistake, or emotional moment can completely change someone’s life.

What is the series “Accused” about?

Each episode begins in a courtroom. The audience sees a confused defendant and hears fragments of accusations but does not yet know the most important thing — what actually happened. The story then gradually moves back in time, revealing the events, decisions, and emotions that led the character to this moment. The stories focus on very different people: successful doctors, parents, teenagers, military personnel, or ordinary workers whose lives suddenly spiral out of control.
The stories are not divided into simple notions of right and wrong — every character has their own truth, motivations, and painful experiences. Each episode explores fear, despair, guilt, and the moral dilemmas faced by people trapped in seemingly hopeless situations. Gradually, viewers begin to question whether the accused person is truly a criminal or simply a victim of emotions, trauma, or a cruel twist of fate.
