"Resistance" is a four-part documentary special project about people who, while under occupation and under pressure from the russian military, remain Ukrainians at heart and resist.
The team of the documentary project "Resistance" searched for Ukrainians who survived the occupation and atrocities of Russian soldiers, prepared exclusive interviews in which the heroes will tell about their struggle. The audience will hear the story of a volunteer from Mariupol who, risking his own life, organized humanitarian flights. Under constant shelling, Mykhailo brought food, medicine and other necessary things to the city and was able to take more than a thousand civilians out of occupied Mariupol. In turn, Anna, the director of the village cultural center, created a partisan network of informers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the deep occupation of Kherson region and coordinated it for 8 months until the liberation of Kherson. Also in the project is the story of a Crimean artist who expressed his protest against the occupation by dousing the building of the Yevpatoria occupation administration with blue and yellow paint. For this, Bohdan was arrested, forced to record a video with an "apology" and sent to a colony in russia.
