Adventures of Vanka, the occupier in the Kyiv region, is a documentary project based on entries from the personal diaries of Russian soldiers. The main document was a diary found in the Katyuzhan school. The project was filmed at the request of the 2+2 channel together with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The creative team of the project visited cities and villages in the Kyiv region, whose residents experienced the most terrible days of their lives. In exclusive interviews, witnesses of the inhuman atrocities of the Russian army talk about the pain, fear, and what was most surprising about the behavior of the occupiers. The audience will also hear exclusive comments from the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, who commanded the defense of the Kyiv region, Oleksandr Vdovichenko, the commander of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military observer Oleksiy Arestovych and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyryll Budanov.
