“The Mummy: Lee Cronin” (2026) is a mystical thriller with horror elements about a family who, after their daughter’s long disappearance, is given a chance to bring her back home. At first, it seems like a miracle. But along with the girl, a terrifying secret from the deserts of Egypt returns.
What is the movie “The Mummy: Lee Cronin” about?
Many years ago, the Cannon family’s life changed forever after the mysterious disappearance of little Katie during a sandstorm in Cairo. After unsuccessful searches, the parents move to the United States, trying to come to terms with their loss and start a new life. But eight years later, something no one believed would ever happen occurs — the girl is found in Egypt after a plane crash.
Katie is discovered inside an ancient sarcophagus. She is exhausted, barely speaks, and behaves strangely, but what frightens the family most is not her condition, but the events that begin after she returns home. Unexplained symbols appear in the house, strange signals are detected, and occurrences arise that cannot be explained logically.
Gradually, the parents begin to suspect that Katie’s disappearance is connected to an ancient cult and mysterious rituals that have long been kept silent. And the closer they get to the truth, the more they realize: some things should never have been brought back.
