What is the movie “Soul Eater” about?

The story takes place in a remote French town where people have spent years fearing an ancient legend about a creature said to come for human souls. What once seemed like nothing more than a frightening myth suddenly becomes reality when the town is shaken by a series of mysterious deaths and the disappearances of children.

National gendarmerie captain Franck de Roland arrives to investigate the case and quickly realizes that the locals are hiding far more than they admit. At the same time, police chief Elizabeth Guardiano tries to uncover the connection between the brutal murders, which increasingly appear to be the work of something inhuman.

The deeper they dive into the investigation, the more the line between reality and old legends begins to disappear. Fear spreads throughout the town, suspicion falls on everyone, and the truth about the “Soul Eater” may be far more horrifying than they ever imagined.
