“Black Feathers” (2025) is a psychological drama with elements of mystery about a comic book artist who, after the death of his wife, is left alone with his two sons and gradually loses his grip on reality. That is when a crow appears. At first, it seems like an illusion — a way for the mind to cope with pain. But it quickly becomes clear: he is not the only one who sees it.
What is the movie “Black Feathers” about?
After the sudden death of his wife, comic book artist Alex Gray is left alone with his two sons — and the familiar life built on simple things begins to fall apart. What once was background noise now becomes a challenge: daily life, responsibility, caring for others.
He tries to continue working on his comics, but can no longer distinguish imagination from reality, and each day turns into a struggle with himself.
At that moment, a giant crow appears in Alex’s life — a black creature he once drew as a symbol of loss and fear. At first, he believes it is a result of exhaustion and a mental breakdown, but soon the children begin to see the crow as well.
This creature does not simply frighten — it forces. It forces memories, feelings, and emotions that everyone tried to suppress to resurface. Gradually, the line between reality and the character’s inner world dissolves, turning his struggle into a journey through his own darkness.
