What is the movie “Normal” about?

After the death of the town sheriff, Ulysses is appointed as the acting sheriff. The town of Normal, Minnesota, appears quiet and unremarkable, but its peaceful image quickly proves to be an illusion. Everything changes after a daring robbery at the local bank. As Ulysses investigates, he discovers that the Japanese yakuza is somehow involved, and the case soon uncovers an even larger conspiracy.

To expose the truth and save the town from chaos, the sheriff forms an unlikely alliance with two bank robbers who turn out to be very different from what they first seemed. Together, they uncover a corrupt mayor whose criminal schemes put every resident of Normal at risk.

The closer Ulysses gets to the truth, the more dangerous the situation becomes. Violent confrontations, high-speed chases, and difficult choices lie ahead. To save the town, he will have to place his trust in the very people he was supposed to arrest.
