1989. School outcast Lisa spends more time at the local cemetery than with her peers and communicates only with her half-sister Tuffy. Tired of the monotony of her life, the schoolgirl dreams of having a personal life and having fun parties. However, Lisa is not confident in her appearance, does not know how to wear makeup, and has never received attention from boys. This gives rise to complexes that only make things worse.
One day, her life changes dramatically: she witnesses a horrific event - a dead man comes back to life before her eyes. Surprisingly, this guy turns out to be surprisingly attractive and not at all like a monster. They start talking, and it turns out that he knows nothing about the modern world, because he died about 200 years ago. Lisa proposes a deal: she will tell him everything about the present and let him stay with her, and he will accompany her to the school prom as her partner. The dead man agrees, and this is the beginning of their relationship.
This unusual friendship helps Lisa transform from a modest girl into a strong, beautiful, and confident person. Meanwhile, the resurrected pianist plans to replace his decomposed body parts, and Lisa develops a cunning plan, deciding to make her personal enemies donors.
