«Woman» is a Turkish drama about Bahar, who raises her two children on her own after the death of her husband and tries to keep her family together. When life brings new challenges, she discovers a truth about the past that makes her see the people closest to her in a completely different way.

What is the series «Woman» about?

Bahar is used to relying only on herself. After the death of her husband Sarp, she has to take care of Nisan and Doruk on her own. She works hard, counts every penny, and does her best to make sure her children never realize how difficult things have become for her.

Bahar does not want to remain trapped in the past. She gradually adjusts to her new life and learns to be strong. But everything changes when Sirin enters her life. Meeting this young woman reveals details about Bahar’s past and her late husband Sarp. What seemed like a loss she had already learned to live with suddenly takes on a completely different meaning.

Her memories of Sarp begin to look different. Bahar realizes that she never knew the whole truth about the man she loved.

As time goes by, family secrets begin to come to light. Every new detail raises even more questions for Bahar. She tries to uncover the truth about the past while also protecting her children and making sure the problems of the adults do not destroy their small world.
